Our mission and dedication to our school vision is incredibly strong. Here at Layton, we are committed to implementing our vision and ensuring our pupils receive the best possible education. That includes ensuring all our school community is supported to keep getting a little better. Small improvements over a long time make a big difference.

To do this we need great staff who are prepared to lead in their classroom practice and support others to do the same. No teacher is the finished product - teaching is a vocation where practitioners can learn each day how to be that little bit better. Fortunately, our school is one where we seek continual improvement; a little improvement each and every day.

Today we were discussing this in school - small steps to continuous improvement; it's what we seek from our pupils, and it's what wwe should aspire to as educators. I was reminded of this graphic which illustrates it very well.
